52 years ago, 23 people lost their lives when the Elizabethan charter aircraft G-ALZU crashed while trying to take off from Munich's runway. The air disaster claimed the lives of 8 Manchester United Players who were returning home from a match against Red Star Belgrave.  R.I.P. Busby Babes you will never be forgotten.

Finally decided to change my layout - and stick with the change. (I really like it - inspired me to get some new icons as well. All of them cheery and bright!)
Still like the old one but it was impossible to reply on comments now I've been downgraded to the family desktop due to my laptop offing itself via corrupt operating files. Which I'm too cheap to fix considering if I do I'll end up spending more money to fix it than it would cost to get a new laptop.

... and I'm quoting Nickelback. Somewhere in that is a stereotype I'm sure. But that not what this post is about. No sir'ee its about the fact that two weeks ago, the 'rents and I went out and bought a puppy!
A 12 week old, cream coated golden retriever puppy who is just the cutest thing.. and she knows it!
Well she's cute until she gets it into her head that I'm a chew toy... then its anything but cute!

"Take that bitch! I win" - said my 13 week older, innumerable cups of coffee drinking, Everest of course readings reader, insomniatic ( ^.-) self after writing the final word of the exam's conclusion. Does that make sense - no? - because I honestly don't care... because I'm done WORLD AT WAR!!! *falls asleep with confetti in hair*
Though I kinda still need to type out my final exam... so damn close.
------------------------
EDIT// Exam typed... can't print it. Its five pages long, I only have three pieces of printer paper in the house and we aren't allowed to double side it *headdesk*

The only bright light on the horizon to have shown itself to me this week,
THE SCRIPT OF THE HOBBIT: PART 1 IS DONE... AND THE SECOND ONE IS BEING WRITTEN.
I'm so fangirling over this people. I've had a damn countdown since a film adaptation of The Hobbit was tentatively announced... around three four years ago.

FML
LANGUAGE WARNING PEOPLE!!!
My laptop has a virus. That virus has completely corrupted the operating system and I can't fix it myself. Its the fucking first day of November for god's sake and I've got research papers to fucking write... Deep breaths...In...Out...Breathe.
I will no take a hammer to it. I am a bigger person than that. Fuck I want to though... the fact I'm not going to has everything to do with: a) my research paper is currently in two different emails and a ups drive still complete and intact; and b) [info]evindell, the 'House of Wolves' author extraordinaire, totally made my day (I'm holding you to that by the way!) and unconsciously and unknowingly saved my laptops god forsaken and miserable existence. All in one reply.
Oh and yes I did manage to backup all my files before it all went to shit. My NaNo included, although at the moment I can't convince myself to give a damn about that. My research paper is okay, therefore I am okay.

EDIT// Laptop is FIXED!!!!! Staples Tech guy is a demi-god. That is all... still can't find it in self to give a damn about NaNo, at least the plot I chose for NaNo anyway.

It's 2 am on the 1st of November. I have 1,030 words of my NaNo written. That's almost to daily writing count finished...
I have written in two hours more for this NaNo than I have in the past two combined.

Because I had nothing better to do (yeah right!) but waste my time I 'faceyourmanga'-ed the characters in my NaNoWriMo novel IMAGINARY FRIENDS...
(IMAGINARY FRIENDS - Cartoonized)
Personally I think they look pretty cute that way. Although Devyn looks a bit too happy considering her personality and childhood.

Shockingly after a few lovely weeks of sun... it has snowed.
As in 'in for the winter' kind of snow. Which means: I get to wear my boots!
Boots that are waterproof, (fake) fur-lined and good up to -32 degress celcius! Damned but do I - and my feet - love these things!
Too bad I can't say the same about the snow itself.

So last year around this time I'm pretty sure I posted about the black bear that had taken up residence in my neighbourhood. Bears, I can safely say, are not fun neighbours to have especially ones that get into your neighbours garbage can...
And well the damn thing came back again which means its turned into a 'garbage' bear. What does this mean? It means if anyone calls the conservation officers now the bear will most likely be euthanized instead of relocated and since no one really wants to see the thing dead no ones calling. So we're stuck with the damn thing and all the paranoia that comes with it.
Still I'd rather have the paranoia than the guilt.

As I've spent the past 3 hours making chapter images and banners of a series that will never grace: fictionpress, my website or currently any internet site at all.
Still they are kind of pretty so they might get uploaded anyway...
--------------------------------
Proving my 'sheep cred:' I have an authonomy account. now Un-shockingly enough its under my pseudonym and shockingly enough its the first time ever I've used said pseudonym on the 'interwebs.'
--------------------------------
Now I honestly loathe can't stand twilight and its sequels (its a personal opinion guys.) On  the other hand I happen to like Death Cab for Cutie's music, and their new one (written for the second sparklepire movie) Meet Me at the Equinox is a really good song. I likes it!
That and because my hometown hates me, I have yet to step foot in a store that is selling Muse's newest album. -.-
--------------------------------
In other none shocking news the BC Government, via the BC Courts, has ordered the that striking EMS workers are an essential service thus removing their ability to strike. (The same thing they pulled with the BC Teacher's Association around two years ago now, and it sucked then too.) An action they are currently partaking in.
Considering how important these men and women are to our  'oh so wonderful' health care system you would think the government would be more willing to deal than they have been.
--------------------------------
Since I mentioned the government, as a member of my university's 'Political Science Student Association (PSSA)' I'm kind of silently cheering for another federal election (it'll give us something to 'event-ify' this semester.) Sure it costs a ton of money but if the people don't like the government its a good thing. Come on 'non-con' vote!
--------------------------------
Spent the last two days babysitting the neighbour children. Got them to watch 'X-men Origins: Wolverine.' I swear I'm the one responsible for most levels of geekery those kids display (read: I'll turn them into comic fans yet!). How sad is that?
--------------------------------
Also can't wait for all the season premiers next week... and now I'm off to watch 'Good God, Y'all' - a.k.a. Supernatural 5x02.
--------------------------------
And because I have yet to celebrate via the internet:
